COURAGE: Our school curriculum is driven by the value of courage, inspiring pupils to recognise when they need support and empowering them to reveal their potential and talents. We encourage our pupils to let their light shine, try new things, and embrace the challenges of learning with a growth mindset. Understanding that courage looks different for everyone, we foster a safe environment where pupils feel confident to make mistakes, seek help when needed, and develop resilience. We celebrate the power of the word ‘yet’, knowing that perseverance leads to growth. Courage is also about standing up for what is right, and we support our pupils in developing the strength to stand firm against adversity. Above all, we help them acknowledge their fears, face them with confidence, and take pride in their achievements, knowing that each step forward is an act of courage.

WONDER: Our school curriculum is driven by the value of wonder, fostering an openness to new learning and a sense of amazement in the world around us. We encourage pupils to be curious, intrinsically motivated, and eager to explore new ideas, both within and beyond their immediate interests. By promoting an appreciation of diversity and different cultures, we help our pupils find wonder not only in what excites them, but in all areas of learning.
